INFIRMARY LIBRARY

Among the arts practiced in the monastery can be found that of medicine - both a science and an art. Currently Hosea House members include a psychiatrist who works with some of the visitors and also goes out to neighboring areas to practice (both to help support the community and to help the broader community deal with those who unfortunate enough to require such services). To visit the sick is one of the corporeal works of mercy, and religious who practice the healing art have been known through the centuries.
